Day One
September 10, 2022
We left our luggage at the hostel and walked to Naschmarkt, where we browsed a variety of delicacies you may not often find back home. For lunch, we ate at one of the market’s restaurants.

Naschmarkt
We went back to the hostel to check in and freshen up. We chose to explore the vineyards, so to get there, we had to ride a bus up a steep hill and then walk down to the vineyards.

Dinner
After getting on the bus, we looked for restaurants close to the accommodation. The restaurant I chose had delicious cuisine and a charming atmosphere. Two men strolled between the tables, performing music for an optional tip.

Day Two
September 11, 2022
We began at St. Stephen’s Church and proceeded to the Spanish riding school. Even though there were no performances that day, we were still allowed to tour the grounds and see the stables. From here we went for lunch at Joseph Brot Albertinaplatz.

We visited Palm House to observe the butterflies and have a quick snack before visiting the Kunsthistorisches Museum, where we spent hours exploring the many rooms.

From there, we walked to Karlkirche, where a large crowd had gathered to see the entertainment. We went inside to look at the interior before going up some stairs that led outside and offered stunning views.

After that, we strolled through Belvedere Gardens, admiring the views as we made our way gradually to Hundert Wasser House.
