Getting There
I had planned to travel from Berlin to Prague on the 9:16 am train, but it either didn’t arrive or arrived earlier and sat further down the platform out of sight. I was compelled to wait for the 11:16 am train, arriving into Prague at 3:35 pm.
Accommodation
We stayed at the Hostel Homer in Old Town Square, which was comfortable and equipped with all of the necessary amenities.

My friends met me at the train station and escorted me to the hostel, where I checked in and dropped off my belongings before heading out for lunch.
We went to see Prague Castle and Golden Lane after lunch. This route passed by the astronomical clock and crossed Charles Bridge.

Sunset
We returned to Charles Bridge for sunset, where we received the announcement of Queen Elizabeth II’s death.

Morning
After breakfast, we strolled past the astronomical clock and onto the municipal library and house, where we peered into the infinity book tower. We then went to New City Hall to see the Paternoster Elevator, one of the last of its kind.

We went to the Jewish quarter and spent a lot of time walking around each area, reflecting on the tragic events of history.
